We Educate

In the last three years, the institute has done the work of leading more than 500 children on the path of education.

OUR PROGRAM

Sanjeevni

Sanjeevani Campaign initiated by Sahadeva Foundation and supported by Onus eats and Arogya Lok comes under social service for creating awareness about Corona Virus and Vaccination. It was a one month campaign served by approx 50 volunteers. It covered 10 villages and a road show in which honourable MLA of Dhanbad Mr. Raj Sinha showed his great presence. People were convinced to take vaccine and learnt safety precautions against it.

Ration Distribution

We all know how covid hit the livelihood of daily wage labourers, coal miners, street vendors and local workers. They remain unpaid for months as their work was totally stopped. Sahadeva foundation with the help of Donatekart and Phoenix Mills Ltd. distributed ration to 1500 + families. The kit contains all the basic needs like wheat, rice, potatoes, oil and bread. Moreover, for a week hot meals were provided to 500 people per day.

Bihar Flood

In 2020 , Bihar suffered a huge loss. There was a major flood due to river Ganga and Son. People lost their roof tops, their livelihood. They were hopeless and starving. Sahadeva Foundation with the help of Feeding India and Nand Care Foundation distributed 1000 + ration kits in the area of Bhojpur.

Tution Centre

Sahadeva Foundation aims at educating children who are deprived of basic education . Nearly 280 + students attend daily classes from Nursery to Class VIII. They are provided stationary kit and Study Materials . The Kit includes bundle of copies, pencil, eraser, sharpener, drawing books and colours. Together with education we provide nutrition to the children who come to our tution centre. Every Sunday they are provided milk, oats and bananas. With Education, Nutrition too is our basic priority.

Water Supply

Sahadeva Foundation with the help of Saayam Foundation distributed 200 drinking water bottles per day. Nearly 300 families were benefitted in the mid summer when there were no water to drink. People of Kharikabad used to go 5 km to fetch drinking water. In that harder times they were provided clean and drinking water for 1 month and 15 days. However , we are looking for a permanent solution and arranging funds for that solution . We looking forward to do better for this hopefully .
